Evacuee letter writing

We have recently been learning about the layout of letters. We used our imagination and pretended we had been evacuated to the countryside. We then planned an imaginary letter describing the journey to our new home, describing the surroundings, our new family and our new schools. Last week we created old fashioned paper and today we started writing our final draft.
