We had a very enjoyable morning at Corrigall Farm Museum. Neil Leask explained to us what life on an Orkney croft was like 150 years ago. We learnt about their daily routines and jobs they undertook on the farm. We learnt about washing clothes, making simmons and grinding barley. We all had a shot at the different jobs.
Mrs Linklater joined us as 'Rev. Jock Nicolson.' We acted out an Orcadian wedding and enjoyed a barn dance!
