Christmas around the world

In these photos P6/7 were researching Christmas in other countries around the world. We learnt that they had different traditions than we have. We also developed our researching skills and working in a group.

I learnt that in Australia the climate is much different than ours and they have barbeques at the beach on boxing day. (Roman)

I learnt in China that they don't really celebrate Christmas and there was a prime minister that claimed to be Jesus`s brother then started a civil war. (Kieran)

I learnt that in Brazil they make a nativity scene out of clay and each figure is about 15cm tall. And that Santa is called Papai Noel. (Leeon)
