Mental division problems.

In class we have been using different division strategies. Here we were in groups and played a game called speed circle! A number was shown on the board and each person in the group took a turn to divide the number. We worked cooperatively to help each other, we learned that sometimes being the quickest wasn't the best because we needed to be accurate with our answers.

We also played some division games and used the laptops to consolidate what we have been learning.

Our resolutions

We have made resolutions for 2014 at the start of this term. We discussed what resolutions are and why we make them. We all then made a resolution for school and home. Here is our resolution tree - let's see if we can keep them!

Term 3

Welcome to term 3 in p5/6/7. We are all looking forward to a busy term! Last week a termly newsletter was sent home regarding what we are learning about at school this term. The blog will be updated on a regular basis and you can follow what learning experiences we have been engaging with at school. Please feel free to contact us both if you have any queries or questions. :)
