Animations complete.... Now for filming!

We have completed our play scripts, sets and characters all set for recording our voices and adding movements. It's all coming together and we can't wait to share with everyone at our launch at the end of June!

Peer assessing writing

We have been writing letters to send to Cardiac Risk in the Young, explaining what we did in our enterprise topic. Today we swapped our pieces of writing to peer assess each other's, giving feedback using the success criteria. 

Art - post office competition

We are delighted the post office is re-opening in Finstown. In art we have been designing postcards of Finstown. Our designs will be on display in the post office and there will be a winning design. The overall winning design will be printed and sold in the shop as postcards. Everyone has done a fantastic job! 

Co-operative challenge

We were split into groups on Monday. We all used good combination and team working skills to plant up some bedding plants. We all included each other and everyone decided on a role within the group. Quick and efficient work everyone! 

Summer is in the air with all this bonny weather..... Long may it continue!!

St Magnus animation

We've been working over the last few weeks to learn more about the story of St Magnus. We've finalised our sets and made characters. We worked with the p3/4 class to help make their characters too. 

Wild about Scotland workshop

We attended a workshop on the Wild About Scotland bus the other week. We learnt about endangered animals and some wildlife within Scotland. We worked well in our groups and asked good questions. 

We used different clues to solve the threats do endangered animals. 

St Magnus animation

We have been creating our sets for our St Magnus animation. In our groups we planned our scenery and wrote playscripts. We all assigned each other roles and work together, using the time effectively. All the sets are coming together and we are now thinking about sound effects to add after we film the animation.
