MacMillan Coffee Morning

We all thoroughly enjoyed the coffee morning today. Everyone put in so much effort so it all ran smoothly- everyone was ready for a cuppa and cake afterwards- excellent effort p6/7! Thank you to all who came and donated money for a worthy cause. 

We worked together to count the money. 

The total raised came to £143.22. Thank you all for your support once again. 

Composing music

In our music session this week with Miss Kemp, we all split into groups and composed a short tune. We pretended we were on a Victorian street at a market where we were selling food. We had to think about the melody as well as the words. We all put in a lot of effort and came up with a tune. We shared these with the rest of the class and were an audience for each other. 

MacMillan Coffee Morning prep

We went to p1/2 yesterday to tell them more about MacMillan and what the charity does. We explained how the coffee morning will help others. In small groups we set them the challenge to help us make bunting for coffee morning. Some of us explained the colours and patterns we would like them to use- everyone was very creative!
