Maths - Time
In maths, we have been learning about time. Some of us used the Northlink timetable to solve problems and find costs. We have also been timing ourselves to do different activities and estimating how long it would take us in minutes and seconds. We have been enjoying the bonny weather in the past week!
Andy Warhol - Our artwork
We have been learning about Andy Warhol with Miss Harcus. We traced our own portraits and chose four colours to paint our portraits. Here is a sneak peek.... we will hopefully finish them in the next week. :)

World Book Day
Earlier this month, we visited the nursery on World Book Day. We read some of their favourite stories to them. We used the skills we had recently learned in our drama workshop, including using expression, asking the children questions and predicting what might happen. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the nursery and hope to return soon!
Story writing
This term, we have been creating stories over several weeks. We planned our stories in detail and shared our plans with our peers. After writing our stories, we drafted and edited our stories on the laptops, creating a front cover and blurb to our stories too. There were a variety of valuable skills used as we supported each other through the drafting and editing stage. We all enjoyed listening to all the stories.
